This poster design was a personal project I created for Pride Month.

The design was meant to be a form of social activism to comment on the current corporate trend of “Rainbow Washing”, an act when companies will change their logos or release a Pride collection for one month and then not advocate for the LGBTQ+ community eleven out of the twelve months in the year. That being said, I wanted the poster to speak on how for many apart of the LGBTQ+ community our “Pride” is not just a month rather it is 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and 24 hours. To communicate that visually, I created the gradient glowing circle that has the Pride colours bleeding into one another as a representation of unity and infinite pride within the LGBTQ+ community. From this project I had the opportunity to be featured amongst other advocates in the Canadian Press on the topic of “Rainbow Washing”
